Walter Harvey Crompton, MSEE
Walter Harvey Crompton, MSEE is an Entrepreneur, Investor, Engineer, and Activist, with a special focus on Health and Longevity. He is Program Manager at DataBETA, Director of Strategic Operations at Yuvan Research, and Partner at Molecular Reality.
He advocates for accessible, safe, and reliable pre-adult interventions to boost lifelong neuro-physical health.
In 2023, Walter became a Partner at Demonpore aka Molecular Reality, where he is now assisting in the creation of a utility-scale nanopore-based device for analyzing chemical and biological composition.
Since 2020, Walter has been the Director of Special Projects at Yuvan Research, as the first-round investor and associate in forming a company introducing and marketing a broad-spectrum age-reversal therapy expected to revolutionize medicine and society. Read Reversing age: dual species measurement of epigenetic age with a single clock.
He is also editing a book about product evolution and contributing to the development of therapeutic formulations based on GHK-Cu and other peptides.
As Program Manager at DataBETA Research Study since 2019, Walter is responsible for a global advancement of the research study that applies epigenetic clocks to examine individual and combined effects of health interventions on longevity, as observed on 5000+ participants.
Previously, between 2010 and 2023, Walter was the Founder and CTO at VivaFina where he developed two novel sleep medicine products that support face-down rest for situations that prevent sleep in normal positions.
Between 2010 and 2023, Walter was also Volunteer and Activist at the SENS Research Foundation, where he charitably worked there for a few hours a week, to augment the prospect for reversal, delay and/or repair of age-associated morbidities, ranging from wrinkles to heart attacks. This work inspired him to learn more and get involved with numerous other longevity-related activities.
Walter earned his Master’s Degree of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1978 from the University at Buffalo. He was the Chair of the Northern California Biomedical Discussion Group, of the American Society for Quality. During his tenure, the group grew to be the largest local group anywhere to address the concerns of biomedical QA.
Before joining SENS Foundation, Walter had four decades of experience working as a Quality Engineer and Quality Systems Developer for companies such as Hughes Aircraft Company, Nellcor, Cardiometrics, Somnus, Boston Scientific, Radiant Medical, Apieron, Irwin and Associates, BioCardia, CIRTEC Medical Systems, Harmontronics Automation Technology, Johnson & Johnson, and Springborne Life Sciences. He worked mostly as a biomedical engineer, especially focused on failure analysis, product development, quality assurance, regulatory support, manufacturing, and technical sales.
He is the creator of the SleeProne system for prone rest, and the Ziesta face pillow, and primary author of two biomedical patents. He was in the original cohort of Dr. Greg Fahy’s TRIIM (Thymus Regeneration, Immunorestoration and Insulin Mitigation) trials to regrow the thymus, and in Dr. Dobri Kiprov’s TPE (Therapeutic Plasma Exchange) trials. Read Contact sensitive probes.
Walter is also the Executive Director at the American Longevity Alliance, an affiliate of the International Longevity Alliance since 2016 and Director at Heales (Healthy Life Extension Society).
He regularly speaks at conferences, such as Longevity Summit Dublin 2024 and EPN 2024, and is a member of the Live Forever Club.
Walter previously lived in China in Yunnan, where he opened the agencies VIP China and Golden Doorway Inc, to recruit English teachers.
