Kurt Andersen

Kurt Andersen is Founder & Managing Director of CAC card academy.
 
Through his many varied roles he has been involved with European domestic debit card schemes, store cards and loyalty, pre-paid card systems, retail loyalty on chip cards, card management and transaction authorization systems, international transaction processing, brand management, and Card Association Membership schemes.
 
Initially, Kurt started his career in retail at the COOP in Denmark before taking up a number of senior card management roles at PBS (Denmark) and Sparebanken NOR (Norway). From there he moved to Visa Europe becoming General Manager of Northern Europe, with responsibility for Visa Member relationships in Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.
 
More recently he was active in a JV with Alliansor Caps AB in Sweden, MD of Savantor International, associated partner of PlusCON in Copenhagen, Denmark — and before that CEO of Northern Europe Processing Services (NEPS) — a joint venture between XPonCard A/S and RS/2 Service Association (based in Frankfurt, Germany) — responsible for the BankWorks Card Processing Platform in the Baltics, Poland, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway.
