Kirk Sorensen, M.S. is
Chief Nuclear Technologist at Teledyne Brown Engineering and runs
the blog
Energy From Thorium.
Kirk was previously an aerospace engineer at NASA for 10 years and
before that was
an intern at Lockheed Martin where he
worked on the propulsion and dynamics of the X-33 advanced technology
demonstrator.
Kirk earned his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Utah State University
in 1998, his M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of
Technology in 1999, and he is currently studying Nuclear Engineering at
the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
