Karen Marquez, M.A. is President and Cofounder of Robbie AI and Global Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Massachusetts.
 
Robbie AI aims to connect the world through the emotions of every person and organization on the planet. One application of Robbie is Robbie Visio. Visio uses deep learning algorithms to provide recognition and prediction of a wide spectrum of emotions in real time.
 
As Global Entrepreneur in Residence at UMass, Karen works across the campus mentoring faculty, students, and staff in a wide array of projects requiring an entrepreneurial mindset. Karen earned an Executive Master in Marketing and Sales from ESADE Business school in 2012, and a Master of International Relations from the University of Barcelona in 2006. She also studied International Relations at University of Barcelona and earned a Bachelor in Journalism at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2002.
