Dmitry Kaminskiy is an innovative entrepreneur and investor who is active in the fields of BioTech, FinTech, BlockChain, and Artificial Intelligence. He is cofounder and managing partner at Deep Knowledge Ventures, an investment fund focused on DeepTech and advanced science projects.

In addition to his business experience, he is involved in several scientific endeavors. He strongly believes that humans should live longer, healthier lives. Besides AI, Dmitry’s major interest is anti-aging and healthy longevity which he has engaged in through business, research, and public activities.

Dmitry is well known for his support of life extension think-tanks in Oxford and Cambridge and many other nonprofit activities. He is the Managing Trustee of the Biogerontology Research Foundation UK, a charity expediting the coming paradigm shift from disease treatment to personalized precision prevention. Dmitry’s $1 million USD prize for the first person to reach their 123th birthday went viral, and was widely covered by the world’s top media.

Dmitry adheres to the principal of “Impact Investment” in all his business activities, believing that business should act to have significant impact for social good. He operates according to the maxim that business should not be separated from societal good and humanitarianism, and his activities in both business and nonprofit sector are aimed at the shared goal of advancing exponential and disruptive technologies to accelerate positive paradigm shifts in finance, healthcare, and AI.

Dmitry is lead investor in Insilico Medicine which is a leading pioneer at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, precision medicine and Longevity.

Dmitry is a frequent speaker on the topics of AI and Longevity. In 2017, he spoke at conferences organized in London by The Economist “Aging Societies and The Business of Longevity”, Financial Times “Smart Machines vs Smart People”, and at the Future Finance Forum in Seoul “AI in Finance”, Presentatio n on the Second 2014 Symposium “Big Data Science in Medicine. Accelerating Preventive Medicine”, as well as several others at Oxford and Cambridge Universities.

Dmitry and Deep Knowledge Ventures are actively involved in the rising Crypto Economy working on several Blockchain projects in the field of LegalTech and RegTech. The aim is to create sophisticated platforms and frameworks to apply novel financial tools and strategies to optimise distribution of venture funding and to provide DeepTech projects with sufficient investment budgets.

He is advisor to Humaniq project, a simple and secure financial services provider based on the Ethereum blockchain protocol. It is on a mission to help eradicate poverty using pre-eminent technologies including blockchain and biometrics.

One of the most important projects for Dmitry in his life is building the Global Longevity Consortium. This decentralized knowledge platform and next generation nonprofit foundation will serve as the collective mind of the Longevity sphere and will be the key driver for the Longevity Index Hedge Fund.
