Deepak Laxmi
Narasimha, Ph.D. is
Senior Assistant Professor at SASTRA University,
India.
Previously he was
Visiting Senior Lecturer at the Department of
Software Engineering,
Faculty of Computer Science and IT at the University of Malaya, Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia. Before that he was an Associate Professor
at VIT
University, India.
Deepak earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at Vinayaka
Missions University, India with the thesis “Software Architecture
Design derived from collaborative usage of Object, Agent, Aspect, and
Component-based Software Engineering Methodologies”. He earned his
MSc in Statistics from Vinayaka Missions University and his MA in
Economics from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. Recently he has
completed his Executive MBA — IT & Systems from Manonmaniam
Sundaranar University with the dissertation “Computer-based
Modeling of Enterprise Risk Management for Disaster and Catastrophic
Insurance”.
He has published numerous papers in refereed journals and international
conferences. He served as Program chair at BAIP 2010, held at Kerala,
India and Publicity co-chair at AST2010, ACN2010, ISA2010, and UCMA 2010
conferences, held at Kolkata, India. He also served on the Technical
Program Committee of WAMIS 2010, Australia and TridentCom 2010, Germany
and has been reviewer for several major conferences and
workshops.
He has been invited as Editor of International Journal of
Advancements
in Computing Technology, Korea, Associate Editor of Journal of Statistics and Mathematics,
International
Journal of Innovative Advances in Science and Technological Research
(ArpaPress), International Journal of Reviews in Computing
(ArpaPress), and International Editorial Review Board of International Journal of
Innovation in the Digital Economy (IJIDE), IGI Publishing press,
and as
Editorial Board Member, Journal of Mathematical Research, CCSENET
press.
He is also a reviewer for numerous IEEE, ACM, and Elsevier journals.
Recently, Deepak has been selected to conduct a special session for 4th
IEEE
Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications (ICIEA 2010) at
Taichung, Taiwan. His research interests include Software Engineering
(architecture and design), Intelligent systems and Information systems
(Web services, E-commerce and Agent based IS).
