Cristián
Moreno Terrazas, MBA is
CEO of
Innovation and Entrepreneurship for the Chilean Industries Federation

SOFOFA.
Cristián has 18 years experience in developing new business and
investment, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship and promoting new
public policy and government programs. He has worked and lived in
Dublin, Tokyo, Rotterdam, Philadelphia, and several cities in
Latin America.
Cristián earned an MBA in International Business from the
Universidad
Gabriela Mistral (Chile), a BS in Agribusiness Management, and a
Bachelor of
Science in Business Administration from the Universidad Central de
Chile. He has been awarded Ministry of Foreign Affairs
scholarships.
In the private sector, he has served as Chief Investment Officer for
CIFCO Holding, linked to the Ergas family, pushing a technology
investment fund with a portfolio in Palo Alto, Santiago, Buenos Aires,
and Sao Paulo; an ambitious real estate and innovative hotel chain along
Chile/Latin America; and the launch of an air logistics (helicopter)
services company and has been involved in several processes of private
equity.
Cristián has also represented Unifrutti Traders (Mediterranean
fresh
fruit and Chile’s largest export company) in the European market and
expanded the first “cultural” shopping mall in Santiago
(PatioBellavista).
In the public sector, he served as “Chile” Brand Officer for the Asia
Pacific Region, and cofounded the Inward investment promotion engine of
the Chilean Government, introducing new high tech companies to the
Chilean
economy and promoting new entrepreneurs. Currently, as CEO
Innovation and Entrepreneurship for the Chilean Industries Federation
— SOFOFA —
he is pushing to introduce exponential technologies awareness
and creating cultural change for innovation at different levels
(Country, Corporation, Government, Business Association, and Educational
Institutions).
On behalf of the private sector, Cristián is board member of the
Chilean
Science and Technology Fund (FONDEF_CONICYT).
