Avron Olshewsky, MSc, MBA is Director at NeuralM Ltd and Interim CTO at place.media. NeuralM is a growing technology strategy consultancy and startup incubator. place.media is a startup venture in the UK where Avron is consulting on business plan creation, technology platform development, and project management.
 
Avron is a dynamic, competent, and entrepreneurial individual with a diverse range of international experience. He has over 15 years experience working for world leading telecommunication companies, including MCI Worldcom, T-Mobile, Motorola, and Cable & Wireless. He is at the forefront of mobile telecommunications technology and has significant international experience with projects based in India, China, Russia, Israel, Brazil, and the USA.
 
He has interest in business process design, the use of technology to enable productive business process, the dysfunctional elements of social organization, and mobile technology and its applications.
 
Avron has a technical mobile background, having conducted research in growth, innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic development in Latin America (Brazil) and with a number of startup ventures undertaken.
 
Avron earned his BSc in Electronic Engineering, Engineering, and Computer science at the University of Cape Town in 1995. He earned his MSc in Telecommunications, Digital Modulation at the University of Cape Town in 1998. He earned his MBA, Strategy at Coppead UFRJ, Brazil in 2008.
