Alice Gilman

Alice Gilman is a longevity researcher exploring the subject of brain replacement. She is a Founder and a Stealth Startup and Business Consultant and Event Organizer at Symbiont Labs.

Alice is currently gathering funds and researching anti-aging possibilities in her stealth startup.

Her journey has taken her from working as one of the regional organizers for academic debate events in over 40 countries to the startup world of Silicon Valley and the realms of decentralization, longevity, and network states.

She is an Event Organizer and Business Consultant at Symbiont Labs, a deeptech startup in Roatán, Honduras, focused on cybernetics, non-medical implantable devices for augmenting human capabilities with a full-service cybernetic implant clinic and research lab.

Symbiont Labs helps people become self-sovereign cyborgs by offering safe subdermal implantation services and a variety of cybernetic upgrades. Alice is the co-organizer of the Human Augmentation Summit brand along with Symbiont Labs. Follow them on Twitter.

Alice is a Longevity Biotech Fellow and was the Founder in Residence at The Residency, an incubator program backed by Sam Altman. She was also Community Manager at Vitalia.city in Roatan, Honduras.

Previously, Alice was Project Manager at the OSINT nonprofit Khthon. The Interactive Global Mass Graves Map (GMG), developed by researchers at Project Khthon, serves as a comprehensive and accessible tool for understanding the global prevalence and distribution of mass graves linked to war crimes, genocide, pandemics, and political violence.

Alice spearheaded the formation of their Sahel region effort and led a dedicated team of 15 in utilizing satellite imagery and open-source intelligence to identify and report on mass graves, directly impacting human rights and international response efforts.

She has a BA degree in International Relations specializing in policy. She studied International Banking and International Marketing at the University of St Andrews and has a certificate from Humboldt Universitat Berlin studying International Business Law. She is currently doing an online BA in medicine. Alice dropped out of her Master’s of Management degree at Sauder Business School and moved to San Francisco to work on her company.

Alice began her career as Event Coordinator at The World Scholar’s Cup in 2018 until 2020 where she organized events and operations in over 35 countries including two tournaments at Yale University with around 7,000 people and bringing a global round to her home country of Kazakhstan.

During Covid, Alice cofounded Homespace.is, a hyper-realistic metaverse project that was endorsed by the opposition government of Belarus and Mr. Freeman. The project began by recreating emotionally significant places like some fragments of Ukrainian cities that got destroyed and evolved into a meta-government project with a digital passport linked to a meta country. Alice exited the project as a founder but occasionally consults the project.

She also worked as Public Speaking Coach at Vancouver Debate Academy between 2022 and 2023, training NSDA debate and original oratory champions from Canada and China. Alice also freelanced as a rhetoric, brand, and communications consultant for public speaking and performance improvements.

Alice consulted Cyprus government nonprofit branches on setting up future pop-up towns and navigating bringing space and health startups for trials into Cyprus.

She is currently writing a book on longevity and potential routes to practical life extension.

Alice is a regularly invited Speaker to events such as Longevity at Edge City Lanna, Vitalist Bay, and Vision Weekend Puerto Rico 2025.
